“The kind of place you want to keep secret; fabulous food, surprise courses to die for, relaxed but faultless service and all at a very reasonable price. Helen and the team are experts at what they do and you leave feeling like you've had one of the best meals of your life! A bill without a service charge added; you're left to tip as you feel appropriate. There's no photo's of our meal as we read the website and menu; I just wish other people would note the owners wishes... from website: "NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT USE YOUR MOBILE TELEPHONE IN THE DINING-ROOM." Overall a restaurant that lets the food and service do the talking; no fancy website or expensive manor house... just some of the very best food out there! Thanks Guys :-) x”

“One word, incredible. This is comfortably the best dining experience I have had recently, the service was attentive and friendly from start to finish, and the food was delicious in every bite, the wine list was varied and interesting, and the explanations given for each dish had you enjoying the food before you even ate it. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough if you are here for a special occasion.”

“I have high expectations of this restaurant due to awards presented to this restaurant some years ago, and high valuation by commendators as shown in their website. However, I don't share the same experience. The food is OK and decent, not the finest quality. The servicing staff are nice and helpful. However, they didn't check if we have any allergy at all. Also, they served chef presented tapas with blue cheese and I don't eat blue cheese. The decoration is neat and tidy. I would expect more characters or classy decoration giving relatively higher price point of this restaurant.”

“We did the luncheon. I would rate the lunch menu with 3.5 stars. Unfortunately, my food came out nearly cold, hardly warm. I can only image the flavor of the food would have been better had certain dishes been warmed to blend together. I would try the dinner menu to give the place a fair chance in my final thoughts/review of the restaurant.”

“This is an extremely good restaurant and in fact very good value for the quality of the food. The wine list is very good value and the better wine is in fact exceptional value - some bottles would be 3x the price in London. The ambience is a little austere but there is excellent art and flowers on the table. Two hours for dinner flew by and I would strongly recommend it.”
